That is what my life has consisted of these last 2 weeks. I am been having a lot of fun matching fabrics for future or current projects. I have so much fabric that I have collected for years and now I am getting to use it.
Jackie lends a paw every once and a while. She likes to lay on my projects that I stretch out on the floor. Her other favorite thing is to crawl under my sewing table and sit on the pedal. That almost sewed my finger to a bag just once.
I've decided that I need to corral my fan base into an organized newsletter format. I am going to start small, and try to stay small, because let's be honest. Who really wants to get a 30 page newsletter about ANY business? Right? OK, the goal is briefly laid out in the news flash box to the right, so I will try not to repeat myself, but I hope to get my first one out in early September. I, in a moment of extreme brilliance (or maybe just extreme pregnancy), actually did sew my finger with my sewing machine two weeks ago. And I can't even blame it on my dog. Somehow, I didn't get my foot off the foot pedal before I stuck my finger near the needle.
