Happy Mothers Day. Did everyone remember? I did. I remember everything. Always. Except for the 5 birthdays last month that I missed.

I've been hoarding fabric like a squirrel and I've been using this intricate filing system for it all on my floor. Today, when I couldn't get into the room because I kept stepping on my valuables, I finally started organizing it. I have some fabric that I am pretty sure will never come back into style again, ever. I'd throw it out, but I have maybe 15 yards of it. It's too loud to print on, and the colors are pretty intense. Any good ideas?

you could try fabric bleaching- it's incredible fun. Take elastics and marbles- tie elastics around fabric and marbles randomly. Dip in hot water mixed with bleach for a couple of minutes. Rinse in cool water then remove elastics and marbles and check out the sweet patterns left behind.
When I graduated from Dordt, I was so bored that this was all I did for many many weeks :) Then I used the fabrics for journal covers, body pillow covers, wall hangings, etc.
Hey, it's worth a shot!
