My weekend days are technically Sun-Mon, but I will tell you about the traditional weekend, as well as my own. Yes, a bonus.
On Friday night, I stayed at work until 10:30 finishing up my "to-do" list of tasks for our fundraiser run on Saturday. I got home and went straight to bed at 12am. I fell asleep at 2:30am.
On Saturday morning, Jackie and I got to the run sight 5 minutes after 8am after driving around the countryside for a while trying to find my way. I helped register runners while Jackie sat wide-eyed under the picnic table wondering where the hell all these people came from. The both of us had the important job of following up the participants with a first aid kit. We walked 5 of the 10K and made our way back to the pavilion for refreshments. I was so sleepy and exhausted that the pile of scones, muffins, and brownies called with a sirens wail to me like I have never heard before. Jackie was fed 4 or 9 muffins by some children while I compared the brownies to the cinnamon bread.
At 1pm, I fought off my overeating coma and we left to go out to camp. I worked until 9pm while Jackie glowered at the youth running a muck on the grounds. We then drove home and attempted to watch an episode of House with Matt but Jackie was passed out and I couldn't stay awake.
By the time my real weekend started (Sunday) the only things that I could do, were eat, sleep and sew. I also went out to lunch with Lucia today.... oh wait, I said "eat" already.
