Look at this!
This is the first time that I've baked whole wheat bread and had it not look like a hockey puck. I got this recipe from my work and it was relatively easy. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with 4 loaves of this now, but you can count on me having a tasty sandwich tomorrow... and I don't even like sandwiches. Take that, Wonderbread!

The only bread I have not ruined whilst trying to bake was a batch of cheddar cheese bread that required no yeast. Every other bread I have attempted turns into a hockey puck for me as well!
Wow! It looks so perfect! I can't believe you baked that! Not that I doubt your baking skills. Just that I'm amazed when people bake their own bread, and not even in a bread machine.
Can you maybe freeze the extra loaves?
oo, good idea. Freezers are quickly becoming my best friend
