Matt and I are spending a few days in Brookings, Oregon for a conference. Matt is doing all the conferencing, while Jackie and I sit and watch the waves.The best part so far is that we can see the ocean from our rooms window. The worst part, is that Jackie can see other dogs playing on the beach when she can't.
We will only be here for 2 days, 2 nights, but I brought all my sewing stuff anyways. I'm getting pretty good at packing a box full up acurately matched fabric scraps and obstinately unwinding spools of thread. I get quite the workout from carrying my 30 year old machine too.
Jackie is willing me with all her might to let her outside, so I'd better go. My day will be filled with sewing, letting Jackie go chase seagulls, and more sewing. What more could I ask for? Maybe a little sun, actually...
