The Land of the Employed

I now have a day job. It is a 2 month position that may turn into something longer, but I will have plenty of work to do learning this position to help me not worry too much about the future. I will be working at Tilikum retreat center which is more like a camp. There are elder hostels and workshops as well as companys and churches that take groups out there. My title is Guest Services Coordinator which comes with a great variation of duties, with hosting the groups at the top of the list. I'm very excited about the position as the retreat center is fairly close to my house and it is beautiful out there.

I start in a week and I have so much to do before then!

  • sew items out of new fabric I recieved
  • hunt down more antique silverware
  • finish and mail out my September newsletter
  • read and prepare for a committee meeting
  • make a speed trip to Eugene
  • plant my red onion starts
  • attend a wedding
  • attend an awesome party after the wedding
  • finish formulating my plans for world domination
  • move all my sewing and art supplies into my new garage studio

All in all, as I list them here, they don't seem that bad. They are mostly things that I love to do, I just need to get back into the swing of a schedule.

can i just ask one question. why does your profile picture look like your walking through the swamp forest and jackie has a demonic glow to her eyes. just a question.

that's a good question. so good, that I think it would be spoiled if I answered it.
