Where the jagged black begins, I let my heels sink in the sand

I'm going to San Francisco this weekend. It is going to be a strange trip. I decided last week that I was going to go down to see my aunt and cousin but I don't have much time to be away from work. I was going to go down by myself and just drive through the night so I could have one more day there. It's crazy how we convince ourselves that our ideas are good ideas.

A woman driving a small grey car, alone, at night, with the need to use the bathroom every hour, through the snowy, windy pass, after working all day, with no snow chains, and no arms or legs.

OK the last part was fake, but I decided that I'd leave in the morning and I've roped Ashley into going with me. There are a couple of other people that I'd love to see while I'm there, but I am only going to have a day and a half. Matt and I are seriously considering a one week California Safari to visit all those Vondrukes that live there that we want to see. I will have to defer all my shenanigans to that trip I think.
